What is the Relationship Between Freedom and Responsibility?

The relationship between freedom and responsibility is complicated. At least, it seems complicated. Really, it is not very complicated at all. My theatre class has been pondering on the answer to this question. We finally came up with a conclusion.

The relationship between freedom and responsibility is cause and effect. Freedom and Responsiblity come as a packaged deal . You don't get one without the other. This is because they directly affect each other. Its all about cause and effect. This idea is set on a universal level. Every place in the world abides by these facts. Just the same as every place in the world has gravity.

Could you imagine what mayhem there would be if you had freedom and absolutely no responsibility. It would be disasterous. People's actions would cause destruction all over the world. There would be war, prejudice, and hate everywhere. I could not bare to live on an Earth such as that.

Another thing that my theatre class is sort of looking at is how you can manipulate freedom. Not for harm, but for good. You can manipulate freedom and use it to help provoke peace. I believe that peace and serenity are two factors of responsibility. This will in turn help with freedom. Heck, I figure why not use it for good.

So you can easily see that responsibility and freedom have the power to help, affect, and manipulate each other. They truly are directly related. My theatre class is making a play that shows that. Freedom is a powerful thing. Without it, people would go crazy, and with it people must learn to be responsible. This will ultimately help themselves to be safe, happy, and peaceful.

My vision, My misssion, My legacy

Hi, my name is Randy Hoffman. I am in the eighth grade and I already have a vision for my life. It is more like a mission. My misson is to become a successful structural engineer. I don't think, I know that I would be good at it. Part B of my "mission" is to get married to the love of my life and have kids. Then remain that way until death do us part.

I am very good at math. I don't lvoe it, but I don't mind doing it. I am in the eighth grade and already taking honors geometry. That is why I would be a good structural engineer I am creative and use a lot of logic in my math. That is what it is all about. They make plenty of money and help society a lot. Who wouldn't want that.

My second goal is to marry the love of my life and make her as happy as possible. I believe that of anybody on Earth, you should be loyal, loving, and compassionate to your wife. We would be great together. I don't know when I'll meet her, but I do know that it would be the best day in my entire life.

I would then want to have kids with her. It would be great to have twins. Maybe I think that because I am a twin. They would be a lot of work, but it would be a fun job to have. In my mind, the most important job in your entire life. I would want them to be just as successful as I hope to be. No, would want them to be more successful than me. Then I would know that I was a successful father.

When I pass I want to be cremated. I would buy a plot for two people. I would want the one right next to mine to be for my lovely wife. Then I would still be with her. I don't want people to mourn of my death. I want them to celebrate the life that I had and the time that they had with me. I would then live eternal life with the my wife. We would then truly be together forever.

So that would be my mission, my vision, and my legacy. That would be great. If it all goes well then I would know that I completed my mission. My life will be a happy one that is worth celebrating. A lot of it would have started out by being good at math. That would give me my job.

See, education is very important. So, for now I will focus on that and become the best that I can. You should live life in the present. You can plan the future and remember the past. That is great. However, for now, you should live in the present and be the best that you can be.

Merry Christmas

What Are The Benefits of Education in the Unites States?

There are many different benefits to attending school in the U.S.A. Life in America is 90% based off of education. If you are not educated then you most likely will not succeed. Being educated helps you to get a job, be safe, earn money, and so much more.
One of the benefits of just being able to get an education, compared to a country like Nicaragua, is that it is free. Technically you still have to pay through taxes, but the government assures us that everybody in the U.S.A can get a good education. In a country like Nicaragua, you have to pay for and work for an education. It is very expensive and most families cannot afford it. This means that they don't get and education.
Another benefit of education is being able to get a job. You need a job to make money. Otherwise you will end up on the streets with a very hard life. In order to have a job you need to know what to do and how to do it. You learn that at school. So not going to school could affect your well being for the rest of you life. This is why many people in Nicaragua barely have a piece of metal to live under. They simply can't afford an education.
Another other thing about an eduction in the United States of America is that it is better than in third world countries. We get to learn more and we get to use better techniques. We also get good learning supplies. Places like Nicaragua cannot afford good and up to date text books. This make getting a good education much harder. If you get an education here, then you can work almost anywhere you wan and do anything you want. You get an opportunity to make it big.
In Nicaragua you can't always do that. Their education is usually so poor that they can't work anywhere they want. They still have to make do with the jobs that they can get in Nicaragua. They don't get the education that lets them travel and make tons of money. It takes a lot more work to become successful. It is very hard.
We have it so lucky in the U.S.A. We get such a good chance at life and we take it for granted. Some of us ruin the opportunities that we have. We don't realize how easy we have it. We also don't realize the benefits that we have. We don't know how we can use the benefits and how they
they will help us. It really is a shame.

What I Thought I Knew

I used to think that everyone in the world were friends. I thought that everyone was a good, happy, christian person like me. I soon learned, that wasn't how things were. I didn't really know much about wars and all of the hatred between so many races, countries, and religious groups. Wouldn't it be nice if there was rriendship and peace between all six billion people who inhabited this Earth.
When I was young, I didn't know about WW1. Even when I was five, I didn't know what ecactly was going on with the World Trade Centers and Iraq. Eventually I started learning avout different religions, such as Catholocism and Judaism. I guess I could say that there were no worries in the world for me.
The other thing that I have now learned about is how religion is involved a lot in most of the wars that happen. Conflict now seems huge to me. I started to learn about the religious bombings and shootings that have happened in the past. In my mind I was saying "what the heck would somebody do that for? what a bunch of idiots. Why can't they be good like me and my friends"? Then I learned about certain religions.
As it turns out, in some religions it is good to walk into places with a bomb strapped to your chest. Apparently, many people did need to die in the Twin Towers. At least that is what the people who ran a plane into them thought. Who would have thought that to be true? You start to learn about the devastation of war and how much some countries hate each other. I was saying "wait a minute, your telling me that people ran planes into those buildings and killed other people on purpose?" Sometime life is very hard and very unfair.
Now I know all of this stuff. In school I learn about the wars, religions, devstation, and permanent affects of what has happened. Plus, some wars were for the good or at least better. For example, the civil war stoped slavery. To me that is a definate positive. Now things seem much more real to me. Sometimes I might think, is it better for me to not know anything bad and never be worried or is is better for me to know everything and be worried at times? I sure don't know the answer.

When I Grow Up...

I want to be a structural engineer. I currently have to go up to the high school to take a geometry class. I am pretty good at math. That is just what a structural engineer needs, math skills. To me this seems like it would be a fun job. Plus, once you get good at it, you can easily make over 100,000 dollars a year.
That seems like a good idea to me.
That plus another income could definately support a family. I also want to have two kids and get married. I don't know what college I want to go to, but I know I want to go to college. I also want a dog. I like pets, especially dogs. I am not much of a cat person.
